Follow the steps below, save your credentials, and continue to Spotify login. This only takes a few minutes.

Why do I need to create my own app?

Spotify recently limited developer apps to 5 users in development mode. Because TrueShuffle is a free tool and not a large commercial platform, we can't afford the paid Spotify quota. The simplest solution: everyone connects via their own free Spotify Developer app. Your credentials stay on our server and are only used to shuffle your playlists - nothing else.

⚠️ Spotify Premium is required. The shuffle feature uses the Spotify playback API, which is only available to Premium subscribers.

Step-by-step

  1. 1. Go to developer.spotify.com/dashboard and sign in with your Spotify Premium account.
  2. 2. Click Create App.
  3. 3. Enter any app name and description. Under API/SDKs used, pick Web API.
  4. 4. Add this exact Redirect URI and save:

Copy both values from your Spotify app dashboard.
